FIRE ALARM & FIRE FIGHTING

Fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems create a comprehensive fire safety net, enabling early detection and timely extinguishing of any fire incidents.

The system operates through two coordinated phases:
    • Fire alarm system (Zone/Addressable): Uses detectors (smoke, heat) and emergency push buttons to automatically detect signs of fire, transmitting signals to the control panel to activate the alarm bell.
    • Fire suppression system: Receives interlocking commands to activate pumps and spray fire extinguishing agents (sprinkler water, foam, or FM200 gas) to control and extinguish the fire immediately.
This close cooperation provides maximum protection for lives and property.

Fire Alarm

An automatic fire alarm system is a fire safety solution designed to automatically detect and promptly warn of fire incidents.

Main Structure
  • Input devices: Various types of detectors (smoke detectors, heat detectors, flame detectors) and manual emergency fire alarm push buttons.
  • Central control cabinet: Receives and analyzes input signals and issues processing commands to output devices.
  • Output devices: Fire alarm bells, sirens, flashing lights, and interlocking systems (elevator control, pressurized fan, fire doors).

Fire fighting

Fire suppression systems are core safety infrastructure, tasked with extinguishing or controlling fires promptly to protect human lives and property.

Main Subsystems
  • Water-based fire extinguishing systems: The most common are automatic sprinkler systems (sprinkler heads burst upon contact with high temperatures) and wall-mounted hydrant systems (manual fire extinguishing).
  • Foam fire extinguishing systems: Specifically designed for liquid fires such as gasoline, oil, and chemicals.
  • Gas-based fire suppression systems (FM200, N2, CO2): Extinguish fires by eliminating oxygen or cooling the system, used for server rooms and electrical cabinets to prevent damage to equipment.
  • Portable fire extinguishers: Used for extinguishing small fires on the spot.
Operating Principle
When signs of fire are detected (smoke, high temperature), the detectors will activate and transmit signals to the central control panel. The control panel will then process the information, sound an alarm to evacuate people, and activate the interlocking system to prevent the fire from spreading.
Operating Principle
Upon receiving a signal from the fire alarm system or triggering the sprinkler system, the control center will start the fire pumps, pushing the extinguishing agent through the pipes to the fire area to put out the fire.
